The Accountability Pledge

A public promise from candidates: I will serve the People — not the Machine.

If they break it, we hold them to it — with proof.

I, [Candidate Name], Pledge:

“I will serve the people of my district/state and defend the Constitution as written — not the permanent political machine.

Therefore I commit to:

1. Never vote for vague bills that delegate core legislative power to unelected bureaucrats — in direct violation of Article I, Section 1.

2. Work to restore simple majority rule in the Senate for ordinary legislation, as the Constitution requires, and oppose the 60-vote filibuster threshold for bills that passed the House.

3. If I materially break this pledge, I will resign from office and not seek re-election.”

Public, verifiable, and permanent. Signed pledges will be displayed with photo, date, and video statement when possible.

Why This Pledge Matters

The root problem is Congress itself:

  • House: Routinely gives away its constitutional lawmaking power to agencies.
  • Senate: Replaced majority rule with a 60-vote minority veto.

These two breaches created the machine. The Pledge directly attacks both.

No more blank checks. No more excuses.

How the Pledge Works

  1. Candidates publicly sign and submit proof.
  2. We publish the full list with verification status.
  3. Citizens track votes and submit documented evidence of violations.
  4. Broken pledges are marked and permanently recorded.

Voters decide whether a candidate who breaks the pledge is worthy of their vote.

Make the Pledge the New Standard

Ask every candidate: Will you sign?
If they won’t — they’re choosing the machine over you.
